Foundation evaluation and redesign for three blocks of apartments and three blocks of townhouses after updated geotechnical findings.
BASE Group was commissioned to evaluate and redesign the foundations of three blocks of three-storey apartments and three blocks of two-storey townhouses. Although partial excavation and foundation work had previously been completed, the project had been paused, and a new geotechnical investigation revealed updated ground conditions requiring verification.
Our team reviewed the bearing capacity of the soil, assessed settlement predictions, and evaluated whether the initial foundation work remained compatible with the new findings. We incorporated seismic design considerations and confirmed that all gravity loads were correctly addressed, delivering a foundation system that meets current engineering standards while ensuring long-term safety and reliability for the development.
